We had a wonderful week at Villa du Leman (family of 4, kids 6y and 8y old). We wanted a relaxing vacation with all the comfort and that it's exactly what we've had.
The people managing the rental (Leman Homes) are very nice and real professionals. They were there for the check in to make sure everything is ok, they contacted us next day to make sure we are not missing anything, and they reacted quickly when we needed help with the piscine (water was a little bit cold at the beginning because of the cold rainy weather outside, so they've changed the settings to heat the piscine 24h per day, which solved the issue and we've enjoyed the piscine for the rest of our stay).
The house was clean and we really didn't miss anything. In the kitchen lots of pots, plates, coffee machine, toaster, even basic pantry supplies, some of them new, unopened.
As mentioned, the piscine is heated. It was also really clean and generally in great condition.
The kids had a blast: kids room with books and toys, playground outside, free bicycles (even bike helmets available for kids), a kids drum set, a piano and board games for the entire family.
For the type of vacation we wanted the location was pretty good. Although not close to city center, there are at least 2 groceries stores near by (one with bio food and the other one with fresh food), a bakery, some chain restaurants and other shops.
We really enjoyed our stay, and thank you Meryl and Maxime for being so nice and reactive. :)
There is indeed some traffic noise in the area, which you notice mostly during the day and when you are in the garden. Otherwise, from the house you don't hear the outside traffic and in the evening and during the night the entire area is silent.
